Student Loan Report, a website with news about student loans and financial aid, has ranked Michigan Tech 108 among the 250 colleges and universities offering the most financial aid to the largest percentage of students with financial need.
In the report, Student Loan Report lists the most affordable colleges and universities for incoming freshman with financial need.
"We analyzed over 1,000 colleges and universities and narrowed the report down to the top 250," the website says. "The ranking was determined by multiplying the percent of freshman with financial need by the average amount given to needy freshman. This gave us an adjusted ranking for the college's overall ability to provide aid to needy freshman."
